Among the services that we offer are:
- E-rate consulting
- Data management and reporting consultation including student information systems and CSIS reporting

Service Desk Support Team
The ACOE Service Desk provides technology support via phone and e-mail to districts and schools within Alameda County. We provide a single point of contact to the end-user and are responsible for the ownership of all calls. We support the County Office of Education as well as setup and troubleshooting of presentation equipment in their Conference Center. The Service Desk also serves as the administrative backbone for Technology Services by handling all documentation for SLA’s, vendor contracts, and e-rate. We are also responsible for reporting on the performance against said agreements.
Among the support services provided are:
- Technical support for software and hardware issues
- Notification about virus, spyware, or other security issues
- Updating user account information (including resetting of passwords)
- Tier 1 support for the other IT departments
Data Processing
The Data Processing Department is responsible for the systems administration, database administration, and data processing of Escape software, which is used to process the accounting and payroll for ACOE and member districts. We also work with other related software. The services we offer include:
- Production of payroll warrants and registers and associated reports monthly and on an as needed basis
- Daily production of vendor warrants and registers, and associated reports
- W2 and 1099 forms and data files are produced annually for the IRS and California Franchise Tax Board as required
- State Teachers Retirement System (STRS) and Public Employees Retirement System (PERS) data are processed monthly for all districts in Alameda County as mandated
