Successful planning can help maximize you enjoyment during your retirement years. Counseling service is available to assist STRS members in their retirement planning. The counselor will discuss retirement planning and will provide you with an estimate of your retirement allowance.

If you have a disability or legal case, please inform the appointment coordinator.

Appointments are usually scheduled six to eight weeks in advance. Please provide several dates and times of preference, along with the following information about yourself:

  • Full name as shown on your STRS statement
  • Home address
  • Home phone number
  • Work phone number
  • Client ID Number
  • School district

Please Note: Due to the popularity of Benefits Counseling Services, we may not be able to accommodate every request; however, every effort will be made to schedule you on the date and time requested or we will offer an alternative.
