There are many Web 2.0 tools that are available free of charge to individuals and organizations. In the interest of making as many tools available as possible to districts without having to test them independently, members of the ITLM have been sharing the spotlight and sharing their expertise.
Edu 2.0 - free Moodle-type tool
EDU 2.0 is a free, web-hosted learning management system that allows anyone to create an online school in minutes. It's easy to use, comprehensive, and can be accessed from any web browser. Archive documents, create wikis and blogs, facilitate chats, and more in an easy-to-use protected environment. handout
dimdim.com - free Web Conferencing tool
Dimdim lets anyone deliver synchronized live presentations, whiteboards and web pages and share their voice and video over the Internet - with no download required. There are three levels of membership, but dimdim.com promises free for twenty forever. handout
