César Chavez Day of Service and Learning
ACOE engages teachers, schools and communities in celebration of the César Chavez Day of Service and Learning. California has established an official state holiday to honor the labor leader, and founder of the United Farm Workers. César Chavez Day is intended to promote service to the communities of California in honor of Chavez's life and work.
