Coordinated School Health Program

A vision under development at ACOE, CSHP model organizes eight components to ensure the 'wellness' of students so that they can thrive. A model promoted by the Center for Disease Control (CDC), Coordinated School Health integrates currently isolated health and education strands. The eight components are: physical education, health education, health services, counseling, psychological and social services, family/ community involvement, staff wellness, and healthy school environment.
