Countywide Retirement Services

The Retirement Services Department provides the following functions:

• Serves as a liaison between local educational agencies (LEAs) within the county and California State Teachers' Retirement System (CalSTRS) and California Public Employees' Retirement Systems (CalPERS) on retirement matters.
• Audits, reconciles, and remits LEA's monthly retirement reports to both CalSTRS and CalPERS.
• Provides technical support and assistance to LEAs on retirement reporting.
